About me

My ambitions

As a game and level designer, I'm particularly keen on working on the little details that make the difference between an ordinary game and a memorable one. I believe first and foremost in the “gameplay first” rule, but I also believe in the importance of all those systems that are peripheral to the core gameplay and bring the game to life.

I enjoy creating paper plans and then 3D modeling my levels, as well as getting a bit involved in the technical aspects, particularly with visual scripting. This allows me to ensure that the player's progression runs smoothly, but sometimes I can also propose interactive systems myself (autonomous and inexpensive) to enhance the game.

For example, in Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy, I was at the origin of the adaptation of the rodent's first appearance so that it arrives at the right moment regardless of the path the player takes, or for randomizing and reusing the animals in the loops on the river to simulate change at low cost.

My personnality

  • Some qualities: I am conscientious and insightful, with a desire to always do my best. I'm proactive in my communication, whether within my team or with other departments. I'm creative and have an aesthetic sensibility, which is always a plus when dealing with cameras, small cinematics, or simply the placement of in-game elements.

  • Some flaws: I lack a little self-confidence and am sometimes unnecessarily worried about other people's judgment. I don't like working for a goal that doesn't make sense to me.

  • Another characteristic: I prefer being in a quiet space to concentrate, so I'm not always a fan of open spaces, but whether I'm working in person or from home, I'm always available. A hybrid position would be ideal for me, but I'm open to anything. I would be happy to work with you remotely from Paris if your company is in another country!
