Aether Ego is a stealth game I worked on with four other game design students and three programming students.

 

This project is my first collaboration with another trade and has been particularly instructive about teamwork and the importance of communication.

Working conditions

Group project (3 programming students, 5 game design students) lasting approximately one month. Each game design student created a personal level. The tutorial is a shared level.

 

Our project

We chose to create a game in which the player controls two characters simultaneously, using the controller. These characters are complementary and are not threatened by the same dangers. In addition, they are attached to each other by a link that triggers the game over if it is broken by being stretched too much. The goal of the game is then to sneak into various places, recover the treasure there and then bring it back to the car.
